APG 2019: 72-73


According to Article 2 of the Taiwan Foundations Act: "[…] 'foundation' means a private legal person that is dedicated to public-benefit purpose with property endowed by endowers, approved by the competent authority and registered with the court". Moreover, the APG report on money laundering of 2019 only refers to foundations with public purposes, such as religious, charitable, medical, educational or cultural foundations (APG 2019: 72-73).
