Notes

While the Ministry of Finance responded to our survey, this question has been left unanswered in the questionnaire. According the European E-Justice Portal, "[t]he case law of all courts of the Slovak judiciary system is available in Slovak language at www.slov-lex.sk. [...] The courts are obliged under the conditions and within the scope of § 82a of Act No 757/2004 of the courts to publish and make available their decisions" (e-justice.europa.eu). According to the Act No 757/2004, Section 82a(1), courts are obliged to disclose the decisions (...) within 15 working days from the date on which the decision becomes final". Further, it established that "[n]o court decisions issued in proceedings in which the public was excluded from the hearing for the whole or part of the hearing and the payment orders are not disclosed" (Act No 757/2004, Section 82a(2)). However, data must be published in anonymized form (Act No 757/2004, Section 82a(3)).
