477 *BO Record: Does the registration of domestic limited partnerships comprise information on the beneficial ownership of all partners? Yes, all partnerships require recording of all partners’ beneficial ownership.
 Data Date: 2019

Notes

From January 2020, partnerships will have to register ultimate beneficial owners with a central registry (rijksoverheid.nl). According to the government, the following information will be made public "First name and surname; birth month and year; nationality; state of residence; nature and extent of the UBO's economic interest. The public part of the UBO register can only be searched in the name of the company or legal entity. Searching by name of the UBO is therefore not possible. Retrieving the data from the register costs money" (ibid.; Google translation). As for definitions, "In case of limited partnerships: UBO’s are the individuals who directly or indirectly have more than 25% ownership interest in the partnership, who directly or indirectly can exercise more than 25% of the voting rights regarding changes of the limited partnership agreement or regarding the execution of that agreement other than through acts of management to the extent that decision making by majority vote is required in that agreement, or who can exercise effective control over the limited partnership" (LoyensLoeff.com).
