418 *Freeports: Are freeports/free trade zones/foreign trade zones/bonded warehouses promoted as places to store valuable assets (e.g. gold bullion, art, precious stones, jewelry, cash, antiquities, wines, cigars, cars)? Yes
 Data Date: 2019

Notes

According to Netherland's Ministry of Finance, freeports / free trade zones / foreign trade zones / bonded warehouses are not available as places to store valuable assets in Netherlands (TJN-Survey 2017). However, two private actors where found to promote the use of bonded warehouses for the storage of high-value assets. For both actors, services seem to be directed to businesses.
