According to the Global Forum: "Section 33 of the Companies Act 1956 provides that the company must present the following documents to the Companies Registrar in the State in which its primary office is situated: the memorandum of the company; [...]. The Memorandum of the company must include the name of the company, its nature (limited or unlimited liability), the Indian State in which the registered office of the company is to be situated (and the States in which it will carry out its activities), the main and incidental purposes of the company, the authorised share capital of the proposed company, and the names of initial subscribers to the company" (GF 2013: 24-25). In 2017, the Global Forum did not report any changes regarding these procedures (GF 2017: 33-35).
