Notes

Land Registry forms for an immovable property are called memorials, and contain "the names (including the names in the Chinese language if known) of the parties or other relevant persons and their respective shares in, and capacities in relation to, the land and premises affected or intended to be affected (20 of 2002 s. 5)" (Land Registration Regulations Cap. 128, section 28 , paragraph 6). There is no requirement to include any other information on the owners. The fees relative land information items are the following: search for a memorial document - HK$10 (U$D 1.28); inspection of searched document - HK$10 (U$D 1.28); certification of document - HK$150 (U$D 19.21). In sum, because the minimum informational requirements with respect to legal owners are not fulfilled in land registers ( 1- full name and 2- country of residence/incorporation or address or ID number), one cannot consider that legal ownership information is publicly available.
