The Commercial Code, Article 36, provides that all entities must keep an accounting adequate to the nature, importance and organisation of the entity, and must also keep the books, documents and correspondence that support them in good condition. Article 50 provides that entities must keep the documents that support all entries in the accounting books. Article 52 mentions that these documents must be kept for at least five years.
